Sail Under the Golden Gate

Out past the Ferry Building, Coit Tower and Pier 39, then under the bridge itself and into the Pacific swell.

There is nothing quite like the Golden Gate for scale. You know how big it is; you do not know until you pass beneath it with 220 feet of steel overhead and open ocean ahead. Expect a fresh breeze and the occasional splash. Book earlier in the day, noon or before, for smoother conditions before the afternoon wind fills in.
